DESCRIPTION
Model 1844 is an obsolete product and is no longer manufactured. Product information is shown here for the benefit of customers who are still using it.

Model 1844 powers beam penetration CRTs. It may be programmed to rapidly switch among any four voltage levels between 6 kV and 17 kV. Levels are set by front panel trim adjustments; applying 5 V logic levels to the program inputs selects the preset voltages.

The 1844 has four additional output voltages: 3 kV focus, 16 kV anode, −3.5 V G1, and 525 V G2 output.

This is a legacy product that supports existing displays used for air traffic control and flight simulators. The 1844 is equivalent to those formerly made by Venus Scientific and ELDEC.
