PHOTOMULTIPLIER SUPPLIES
A photomultiplier tube is a photoelectric cell which detects light and amplifies the associated current by a large factor via the photoelectric effect. Within it, a photocathode integrates some material that emits electrons upon the application of light, and a dynode chain accelerates and contributes to that number of electrons until a detectable current has been attained. This process requires very steady power due to the subtlety of the subjects analyzed. CPS' compact photomultiplier supplies produce outputs of very low ripple and high stability for applications requiring a particular level of precision. PRODUCTS
