DESCRIPTION

Model 1848 is an obsolete product and is no longer manufactured. Product information is shown here for the benefit of customers who are still using it.

The Model 1848 powers beam penetration CRTs. It may be programmed to rapidly switch among any five voltage levels between 6 kV and 14 kV. Voltage levels are set by front panel trim adjustments. Applying logic levels to the program inputs selects the preset voltages.

The 1848 is a legacy product that supports existing displays used for air traffic control and flight simulators. It is equivalent to the Model 271 formerly made by Venus Scientific and ELDEC.
