DESCRIPTION

Model 550 is a low-cost high voltage electrophoresis power supply designed for embedded systems. Its high voltage output is isolated from the AC line voltage and the case. A special circuit monitors leakage current to the case and trips a logic circuit for currents greater than 500 μA. The unit is designed to withstand continuous short circuits without damage. Since the 550 is UL and CE listed, it may be used as a stand-alone power supply.
